TURTLE CAKE | |
1 box Swiss chocolate cake mix 1 pkg. caramels 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk 1 stick butter 1 c. chocolate chips 1 c. chopped pecans Mix cake mix according to package directions. Pour half of batter in greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. While cake is baking melt caramels, butter in milk. Pour over top of baked cake. To the remaining cake batter add the chocolate chips and pecans. Pour over the caramel layer. Return to the oven and bake 20 to 25 minutes longer. |
