2 eggs
1/2 stick Promise butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 to 3 tbsp. hot water
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits

Mix eggs, butter, Crisco, sugars, baking soda and vanilla at medium speed on mixer. Gradually add flour alternating with hot water until all mixed well. Stir in chocolate bits. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
