1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs, beaten
5 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. salad oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. white sugar

Roll into small balls. Press onto cookie sheet (do not grease) with glass dipped into sugar. Ground nuts may be added. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
