SAUSAGE AND CHEESE TARTS | |
1/2 lb. pork sausage 1 1/4 c. biscuit mix 1/4 c. butter, melted 2 tbsp. boiling water 1 egg, slightly beaten 1/2 c. half and half 2 tbsp. green onion, chopped 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese Cook sausage until browned, drain and set aside. Combine biscuit mix, butter and boiling water; stir. Press 1 tablespoon of dough into bottom and sides of muffin tins. Spoon sausage into cups. Combine egg, half and half, onions, stir well; spoon 1 tablespoon into each cup. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over each tart, bake another 5 minutes. Makes 1 dozen. Can be garnished with parsley. |
