CARAMEL CORN BALLS 
32 c. popped popcorn
1/4 c. white Karo syrup
2 sticks butter
2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Boil syrup, butter, sugar and salt for 5 minutes. Take mixture off fire, add vanilla and soda. Pour over popcorn (popped) and mix. Put on sheets and bake in 250 degree oven for 1 hour. Remove from pan. Form into balls after mixing. Yields: 2 dozen.
