ORANGE SUNSHINE TORTE 
1 pkg. Duncan Hines Deluxe Supreme Cake Mix
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. orange or lemon extract
2 tbsp. milk
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained

Using 8-inch round layer cake pans, mix, bake and cool cake as directed. Split each layer into 2 thin layers.

In a small bowl soften cream cheese. Add sugar, extract and milk; beat until smooth. Save 5 orange sections for garnish; dice the remaining orange sections. Reserve 1 cup of cream cheese mixture.

Fold diced orange sections into remaining cream cheese mixture. Spread cream cheese and orange mixture between layers; leave the top unfrosted. Then spread the reserved plain cream cheese mixture on top and garnish with reserved orange sections. Chill and serve. Store cake in refrigerator. Serves 12-16.
