PARMESAN FRENCH BREAD 
1 loaf French bread
1 c. mayonnaise
3/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated or finely shredded
Green onions, sliced
Butter, softened

Slice loaf of French bread in half lengthwise. Spread both pieces generously with butter. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Mix mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese and spread on top of buttered bread. Sprinkle with green onions. Broil until hot and bubbly, watch carefully so it will not burn. Serve immediately. Serves 8.
