JOHNNY MARZETTI BEEF | |
1 lb. ground lean beef 1 lg. onion, chopped fine 1/2 sm. green pepper, chopped 1 c. celery, chopped 1 lg. can sliced mushrooms 1 can tomato soup 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 3/4 c. salad green olives 6 oz. wide noodles 1 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese Brown beef; drain. Then add and saute onion, green pepper, and celery. Mix sauteed beef and vegetables with mushrooms, soup, sauce, olives, and the wide noodles (cooked according to package directions) plus 1/2 the grated cheese. Mix thoroughly and put in 9 x 13 inch greased Pyrex baking dish. Cover with remaining cheese. Cover dish and keep overnight in refrigerator. Let come to room temperature before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45-60 minutes uncovered. Serves 8-10. Easy. |
