BANANA CREAM PIE 
1 1/2 c. scalded milk
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
Yolks of 2 eggs
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 lg. bananas
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Put into double boiler and cook until thick. Line pie tin with rich pie crust. Then slice bananas in bottom of crust. Then pour in the filling. Cover with the whites of eggs and brown.
