EGG BISCUITS 
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
1 stick butter
4 eggs
2 tsp. lemon or vanilla or anise extract
1 c. milk
5 c. flour (or as much as it takes)
5 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Mix all liquid ingredients well; add dry ingredients. Dough should be stiff, but not hard. Shape into biscuits. Brush with beaten egg and bake for 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. Bake on greased cookie sheet.
