HOMEMADE CRACKERS | |
1 1/3 c. white flour 2/3 c. rye flour 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/3 c. oil 1 1/2 tbsp. caraway seed 2 tbsp. vinegar 1/2 c. water Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift together first 4 ingredients. Add next 4 ingredients, mix well; knead if necessary. Roll out 1/2 dough on cookie sheet (standard size); should be very thin and evenly distributed. Should cover entire sheet. Score lightly and sprinkle with salt. Bake 10 to 15 minutes until brown. Also can be made with whole wheat instead of rye flour and sesame seeds instead of caraway seeds. |
