HOMEMADE CRACKERS 
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 1/4 c. milk

Combine flour, salt and sugar. Cut in 1/4 cup butter. Stir in enough milk to make a stiff dough. Roll dough to 1/8-inch thick on a lightly floured surface. (If dough is too elastic, let it rest 15 minutes.)
