GUMDROP CAKE 
If you like fruit cake you will love this. A fruit cake without all that work.

Remove all licorice gum drops, do not use licorice
1 c. brown sugar
2 sticks butter
2 c. raisins
1 tsp. walnut extract
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 c. gumdrops
1/2 c. Morgan David concord wine
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 lg. bottles of cherries (maraschino)
3/4 c. white sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. mix fruit extract
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. nuts
1 c. applesauce
1/4 c. molasses
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix in a large bowl. Use an angel food cake pan. Grease wax paper and then put wax paper into your cake pan. Pour cake into pan. Bake in a slow 350 degree oven for 2 to 3 hours.

Place a pan of water under cake in oven while baking to keep it moist and to keep it from burning. Brush cake with wine 2 or 3 times after cake is cool. Will freeze.
