6 med. potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
2 c. boiling water
1 tbsp. butter

Place sliced potatoes in casserole dish. Mix soup with water and simmer a few minutes. Pour over potatoes. Dot with butter. Cover with foil and bake 50 minutes at 375 degrees. Uncover and brown 5 additional minutes.
