BAKON CORN CHOWDER 
6 slices of bacon
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. green pepper
1 bay leaf
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. celery powder or 3 stalks celery, chopped
3/4 tsp. black pepper
17 oz. can cream corn
17 oz. can whole kernel corn
2 c. milk

Cook bacon and crumble. Saute' onions and pepper (green) for 10 minutes in bacon drippings. Add rest of ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes.
