OVERNIGHT COFFEE CAKE 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1 tsp. cinnamon

Grease (not oil) and flour bottom only of 13 x 9 inch pan. (Lightly spoon flour into cup; level off). In large bowl, combine all ingredients except topping. Blend at low speed until moistened. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Pour batter into prepared pan. Blend topping ingredients; sprinkle over batter. Cover; refrigerate overnight. Next morning, bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
