HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
8 slices bacon
3 tbsp. flour
4 tsp. onion chopped
1/3 c. vinegar
2/3 c. water
2 qt. diced potatoes
1/2 c. chopped parsley
1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. powdered mustard
1/2 tsp. crumbled rosemary

Fry bacon crisp. Remove from pan, drain and crumble.

To 1/4 cup of bacon fat left in pan, add flour and onions. Stir in vinegar, water, sugar, salt and spices. Cook only to medium thickness. Add to potatoes (already diced), parsley and crumbled bacon. Mix carefully with 2 forks to prevent mashing potatoes.
