DILL PICKLES 
4 lbs. sm. cucumbers
Fresh dill sprigs
Pepperoni
Dill seeds
3 1/3 c. white vinegar
3 1/3 c. water
4 tbsp. coarse salt

BRINE:

1/2 lb. kitchen salt
2 1/2 qts. water

Wash and prick cucumbers all over with fork. Soak in brine solution for 24 hours. Rinse and pack into sterilized jars. Into each jar add dill sprig, 4 peppercorns, and 1 tablespoon dill seed. IN pan, combine vinegar, water and coarse salt. Bring to boil and continue for 1 minute. Pour into jars and seal. Leave at least 4 days before eating.
