OATMEAL FUDGIES 
3 c. quick oats
4 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 c. chopped nuts or coconut or a mixture of the two
1/2 c. chocolate chips
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk

Combine the oats, cocoa, nuts or coconut and chocolate chips. Set aside.

In a small saucepan, bring the sugar, butter and milk to a rolling boil. Pour the boiling mixture over the oat mixture and stir quickly. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper or put in a lightly greased 8 inch square pan and cut as you would fudge.
