2 1/4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
Eggs
1/2 c. sour milk

Mix flour, sugar, soda, and salt together in a bowl. Bring butter and water to a boil; add eggs and sour milk. Add butter and egg mixture to dry ingredients; mix well. Pour batter into 11 x 17 inch cookie sheet which has been greased and floured. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.

ICING:

1 stick butter
3 tbsp. milk
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts

Bring butter and milk to a boil. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Mix thoroughly. Cool slightly and ice cake.
