EASY PEANUT BRITTLE | |
1 c. white (clear) Karo syrup 1 c. granulated sugar 1/2 c. water Cook the above in heavy pan until golden brown. 2 c. salted peanuts, then add 2 tsp. baking soda Mixture will foam up. Pour into well-greased (2) baking sheets. Working quickly spread candy using heavy spatula or wooden spoons. Let cool completely, then break into pieces. |
