SHRIMP FRIED 
Clean and devein 1 pound shrimp. Rinse well and salt lightly. Drain on paper towel. Mix 3/4 cup of Bisquick and 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour. Add water until it is like pancake batter. Be sure the water is cold. Dip shrimp and fry in hot fat until brown and drain.

Prepare shrimp as before, then beat one egg with ice water (1 tablespoon). Use all-purpose flour and dip the shrimp in the flour, then in the egg mix and back in the flour coating well. Fry as before. You may also use the 2nd recipe for oysters. Serve with salad, garlic bread (or French bread) and French fries. Serves 2.
