FRIED SHRIMP 
2 lbs. shrimp
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. iced water
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 egg

Clean and devein shrimp. Slit down vein side almost through. Dry shrimp thoroughly. Mix all ingredients ingredients. Heat oil to 375 degrees, dip shrimp in batter and fry in oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towel or brown paper. Serves 6 to 8.
