CREAMY ONIONS | |
2/3 c. milk 1/2 tsp. dry Sauterne wine 1 (1 oz.) pkg. white sauce mix 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated 2 tbsp. parsley, minced 2 (1 lb.) cans sm. whole onions, drained 1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs 2 tbsp. butter, melted Pour milk and wine into white sauce mix; stir slowly. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Add cheese, parsley and season to taste. Pour sauce over onions in casserole dish. Mix crumbs with butter and sprinkle with onions. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes 6 servings. |
