VIDALIA ONION PIE 
2 lbs. Vidalia onions, peeled and thinly sliced
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. white pepper
Dash of Tabasco sauce
1 (9 inch) pastry shell, unbaked
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

In large skillet, saute onions in melted butter. Combine eggs and sour cream and add to onion mixture. Stir in seasonings. Pour mixture into pie shell. Top with cheese. Bake in 450 degree oven 20 minutes, then at 325 degree oven for 20 minutes more. Bake until brown. Good with steak.
