BEER ONION RING BATTER 
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
12 oz. light beer
1/4 tsp. Tabasco

Sift flour and salt into the beer. Stir until light and frothy. Add the Tabasco and let stand for several hours. Stir before using. Dip onion rings into batter and fry in boiling oil.
