BEEF STROGANOFF | |
3 tbsp. butter (level) 2 tsp. flour 1 c. buttermilk 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. salt 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 1/2 c. water 1 1/2 lb. round steak (sliced in 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 strips) Heat butter and fry meat and onions until brown. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Let flour brown. Stir in water and buttermilk. Let simmer 10-15 minutes. Serve over hot buttered noodles. |
