JELLIED FRUIT SALAD 
4 tbsp. gelatin (Knox plain)
1 1/2 c. cold water
1/2 c. white vinegar
4 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 (#2 1/2) can Royal Anne cherries
1 (#2 1/2) can sliced pineapple (cut each slice into 8 pieces)
Meat of 3 grapefruits or 1 can of grapefruit sections

Dissolve gelatin in cold water and vinegar; add boiling water with sugar and salt, stir well. Place fruit in pan as desired. Chill in refrigerator. Serves 28 people and will keep a week or more. Looks like gems set in jello.
