MARY SUE'S HOT CHICKEN SALAD 
8 chicken breasts, cooked, steamed & diced or
1 whole chicken, cooked, steamed & diced
3/4 c. slivered almonds
1 1/2 c. sliced water chestnuts
1 1/4 c. pimentos
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/4 c. mayonnaise

Mix all ingredients and put in a rectangular pan. Top with 8 ounces (or more) of Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, uncovered. Sprinkle 2 cans of crushed French fried onion rings on during the last 5 minutes. Serves 6-8.
