PINEAPPLE BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour

FILLING:

1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 egg yolks
20 oz. can crushed pineapple

Mix butter, shortening, sugar and flour as for pie crust. Place 2/3 of mixture in a 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Mix filling ingredients together and cook in a heavy saucepan until thickened. Spread on top of crust. Pat remaining crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
