2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. water
1/3 c. butter
2 c. pecans

Combine sugar, water, and butter; cook slowly up to a boil. Cook to soft ball stage. Add nuts. Stir until combined. Drop on wax paper by spoon to the size of a small cookie. Cool and serve.
