LAYERED SALAD 
1 head lettuce, chopped
Chopped celery
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 pkg. frozen peas

Layer these ingredients in a large salad bowl in the order listed above.

TOPPING:

Sour cream
Mayonnaise
1 lb. bacon
Parmesan cheese
Garlic salt
Seasoning salt

Combine 1 small container of sour cream and an equal amount of mayonnaise. Pour over salad and spread to completely cover. Top by sprinkling with Parmesan cheese, garlic salt and seasoning salt. Crumble 1 pound of bacon to complete. This tastes best if allowed to sit in refrigerator overnight.
