SEVEN LAYER SALAD 
1 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. shredded carrots
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas (baby peas)

DRESSING:

1 c. mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip)
1 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. sugar

TOPPING:

8 sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded

Put in salad bowl in layers in above order. (You can use a 9 x 13 inch pan but may need more dressing.) Mix dressing ingredients together well and spoon carefully over top layer in the bowl, which will be the peas. (You want to seal in the salad ingredients.) You can use straight mayonnaise instead of dressing if you wish. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight. Have ready; bacon and cheese. Sprinkle cheese and bacon over the top of the salad just before serving. DO NOT TOSS!
