GRANOLA 
6 c. old fashioned rolled oats
1 c. soy grits
1 c. wheat germ
1 c. shredded coconut
1 c. nutmeats, med. chop
3/4 c. dried fruit bits
1/2 c. dry powdered milk
1/2 c. vegetable oil
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. honey
1 tbsp. vanilla extract

Mix dry ingredients together. Then add liquids which have been mixed together and warmed slightly. Stir until all is equally moistened.

Spread in 2 jelly roll pans (cookie sheets with edges). Bake at 250 degrees, stirring at 1/2 hour intervals until lightly browned and dry. Store in a cool place in glass jars or Ziploc bags.
