DUTCH CHICKEN PIE 
1 (5 lb.) hen cooked whole and cut in lg. pieces
Flour
1 lg. can mushrooms, drained
2 tbsp. chopped pimento
2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. shortening
3 tbsp. chopped parsley
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk

Thicken broth from hen with flour. Put in 9 x 14 inch pan or baking dish. Cover bottom with pieces of chicken and a layer of eggs, mushrooms, and pimento. Sprinkle top with parsley. Sift 2 cups flour, baking powder and salt together. Cut in shortening. Add milk. Roll thin and cut with biscuit cutter. Place on top of casserole and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
