LEMON MILK SHERBET 
1 1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. lemon juice
Grated rind of 1 lemon
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
1 pt. milk

Combine sugar, lemon juice, lemon rind and flavoring add milk and stir until the sugar is thoroughly dissolved. Pour into refrigerator freezing ray and freeze firm. Remove to mixing bowl and beat with electric beater or hand until mixture becomes light and creamy. Return quickly to freezing tray and allow to finish freezing.
