1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
dash of salt
1 box strawberry jello
1 to 2 drops red food coloring
2 qt. strawberries

Cook until thick the sugar, cornstarch, water, salt and food coloring. Pour over jello. Let cool. Fold over strawberries. Put in baked pie shells.

Makes 2 pies.
