CRUMB CAKES 
2 sticks butter
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 egg
1 c. milk

This recipe makes 2 pie plates of crumb cake. Can freeze. Mix by hand first 5 ingredients; take out 2 handfuls and put in small bowl for later; add 1 egg and 1 cup milk to remaining batter and stir with spoon. Place crumbly mixture in small bowl on top of 2 pie plates filled with the batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Can sprinkle with cinnamon.
