1 c. butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking powder

Mix all ingredients together. Add enough flour to make a stiff dough. Roll out on floured surface about 1/4-inch thick. Cut into desired shape.
