LAZY DAISY CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

6 tbsp. melted butter
4 tbsp. cream or milk
10 tbsp. brown sugar
1 c. coconut or nuts (or both)

Beat eggs very well until thick and light. Add 2 cups sugar and beat well again. Sift flour with baking powder and add to batter. Beat well to incorporate. Heat milk to boiling point and add 2 tablespoons butter. Add to batter and beat well. Add vanilla and beat one more time.

Pour batter into a greased 9x13 inch pan and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until cake tests done. While cake is baking, prepare topping.

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and beat well. While cake is still hot, spread topping over it and return to oven for a couple of minutes until icing starts to bubble.
