SQUASH CASSEROLE 
4 c. cubed squash
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 lb. sharp or mild cheese, grated
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce or 1 can tomato soup

Cook squash in salt water for 5 minutes and drain. Brown hamburger, onion, and green pepper. Drain. Add grated cheese, tomato sauce, and squash. Mix together and bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Can sprinkle with bread crumbs.
