BIG JOHN'S STOVE PIPES 
46 oz. tomato juice
6 oz. tomato paste
29 oz. tomato sauce
1 lg. can of mushrooms
1 green pepper
Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper
1 med. onion
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
3 eggs
1 1/2 lb. Ricotta cheese
Romano or Parmesan cheese, grated
Olive oil

Brown onions in olive oil, and tomato juice, tomato sauce, tomato paste, mushrooms and green peppers. Brown hamburger and Italian sausage, add to above ingredients. Cover top with Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, Romano or Parmesan cheese. Simmer 1 hour with lid on pot and 1 hour with lid off.

Mix Ricotta cheese and eggs, add Romano or Parmesan cheese to taste and stuff mixture into manicotti shells.

Cover bottom of baking dish with sauce, add stuffed manicotti shells, cover with sauce and tin foil. Bake 45 minutes at 400 degrees. After 35 minutes, remove tin foil and sprinkle with Romano or Parmesan cheese.
