OATMEAL WAFFLES 
1 c. quick cooking oats
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
6 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar

In large mixing bowl, stir together first 5 ingredients. Set aside. In a small mixing bowl stir together next 4 ingredients. Add to the flour mixture. Stir until blended. Pour batter onto lightly greased preheated waffle iron, amount will vary with size of waffle iron. Serve with fruit or syrup. Can also be served with ice cream for a quick dessert.
