PAM'S LASAGNA
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. can tomatoes
12 oz. can tomato paste
2 tsp. dried basil
Garlic powder
3 c. cottage cheese
2 beaten eggs
2 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb. sliced Mozzarella cheese

I usually have a can of tomato sauce handy in case I use all the meat sauce in the body of the recipe.

Sprinkle browned ground beef with garlic powder and add the tomatoes paste and basil. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Combine the cottage cheese, eggs, parsley, and Parmesan cheese. Cook lasagna noodles. Spread some of either the meat sauce or plain canned sauce on the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish. Layer with noodles first; then the cheese combination; next the Mozzarella slices, then the meat sauce. Repeat once more and end with a layer of noodles. If you have meat sauce leftover, you may sprinkle some on top, or you may use some canned sauce.

Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 more minutes. After removing from oven, let stand for 15 minutes before cutting and serving.
