REFRIGERATOR PICKLES 
25 cukes, sliced
3 med. onions, sliced
1/2 c. pickling salt
4 c. vinegar
5 c. sugar
1 tsp. turmeric
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed

Heat salt, vinegar, sugar, turmeric, celery seed, mustard seed and put in hot jars. I double these ingredients to make about 8 quarts.

Stuff pickles (cukes) and onions in hot jars. Pour mixture in to come to top of jars. Seal. When cool put in refrigerator. Shake jars once a day for 10 days. Ready to eat in 10 days. Keep in refrigerator. Makes excellent sweet pickles.
