FRENCH CABBAGE SOUP 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 (14 oz.) can tomato juice
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1/2 head cabbage (cut up)
1 beef bouillon cube
1 tsp. sugar

Brown beef in soup kettle. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil and simmer 2 hours. Celery and/or carrots may be added, also barley or rice.
