MILKY WAY® CAKE | |
6 MILKY WAY® bars 1 c. butter 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2 1/2 c. sifted flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts Melt bars and 1/2 cup butter in saucepan over low heat. Cream remaining butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time; beat well. Add flour and soda alternately with buttermilk, stir until smooth. Add melted candy; mix well. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Bake in greased and floured 10" tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool a few minutes, remove from pan. When completely cool, can be eaten unfrosted or frost with your favorite frosting. I use a chocolate butter frosting to frost top and sides of cake. |
