BRAISED SIRLOIN TIP 
2 tbsp. butter
2 lb. beef sirloin tip, cut in 1" cubes
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef consomme
1/3 c. cranberry juice cocktail
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. onion salt
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water

Melt butter and brown meat cubes on all sides. Stir in consomme, cranberry juice, soy sauce, minced garlic and onion salt. Heat to boiling, reduce heat. Cover and simmer 1 hour or until tender. Blend cornstarch and water. Stir into meat, stirring constantly until liquid thickens. Makes 4 servings. Serve with rice.
