MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. self rising flour
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
17 oz. jar marshmallow creme

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cream butter, sugar, eggs. Blend in flour, syrup, vanilla and nuts. Bake 30 to 40 minutes. While still warm (not hot) spread marshmallow creme on cake.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk

Combine in a pan and cook over medium heat to boiling. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and beat 9 more minutes with electric mixer. Will become firm. Spread on cake immediately.
