ROSEMARY'S MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
1 c. shortening
3 (1 oz.) square chocolate
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. walnuts

Melt shortening and chocolate and cool; sift flour, baking powder and salt. Beat eggs; add sugar, shortening and chocolate mixture, flour mixture and vanilla. Mix well and add nuts and mix again. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. As soon as cake comes out of oven, spread marshmallows over top of cake and immediately pour icing over marshmallows.
